Self-reflection:

I chose this activity because I was curious to explore the size and scope of my learning network. Upon completing my learning network map, I was surprised to see how much time I spent online and how indispensable the Internet was for my classes and coursework. This discovery matched perfectly with my learning goals of improving time management and finding a balance between work, studying, and my personal life; revealing that the online platforms I used for school provided convenient access to the resources I needed and ultimately saved me time.

However, the map also highlighted the lack of physical interaction that my classes offered, exposing the downside of having a majority of learning conducted online. Despite this drawback, the process of creating the map was informative as I gained a better understanding of networked learning and the complexities of my learning interactions; seeing the visual representation of varied nodes, connections, and relationships involved in my overall learning experience revealed a dynamic network of interactions.

Through this activity, I came to appreciate that learning is an extensive network where nodes and connections continually influence each other. It has been an informative experience that deepened my understanding of networked learning and emphasized the interconnectedness of my learning activities.
